Friendly Spot

The Menger Bar
Built in 1887, the Merger Bar is steeped in history. Share a beer with the ghost of Teddy Roosevelt and admire the grooves and ridges of the bar’s original dark cherry wood paneling.
This is the oldest pub in the city and is one that’s still popular with locals… It does feel like you’re stepping back in time here but the beer is very much twenty first century. -Pippa Vague
