With investments by Indian companies in Rwanda, trade and tourism are expected to be the key beneficiaries when direct flights are launched between Kigali and Mumbai, using the airline’s new Airbus A330 aircraft to serve the route, initially probably three times a week.
The airline also confirmed that flights to Harare, Zimbabwe, are now launching in April this year. Lilongwe, Bamako, and Conakry are also on the drawing board for more African destinations during 2017.
