Tourism Talk sessions, hosted by Urban-Econ development economists, are monthly informal social networking events designed to create opportunities for people interested in tourism development.
The event is open to members of the trade and will be held on Thursday, November 17 at the Urban-Econ head office, Lake View office Park, 137 Muckleneuk Street in Brooklyn, Pretoria.
The speakers are tourism professionals who share their passion and knowledge of the field and include members from South African Tourism, StatsSA, SANParks Tourism Harvest, TUT, ATKV and Open Africa.
According to Kiera Schoeman, Tourism Specialist at Urban-Econ, the talks are challenging and explore the boundaries of tourism knowledge, focusing on current issues and trends in tourism development within Southern Africa and Africa.
Urban-Econ’s Tourism Talks will celebrate its one-year anniversary on Thursday, November 17.
