Aer Lingus will launch nonstop service between Dublin and Miami on Sept. 1.
The route will fly three times per week on an Airbus 330-200 that seats 266 passengers.
The route will be the 24th between Miami and Europe and the fourth new international destination from Miami in 2017, joining Guadalajara, Reykjavik and Milan.
Aer Lingus flies to nine U.S. destinations: Boston, Chicago, New York, Newark, Orlando, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington Dulles and Hartford, Conn.
The carrier is part of International Airlines Group, which also includes British Airways, Iberia and Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling.
Aer Lingus is seeking to join the Oneworld alliance, which along with British and Iberia includes American Airlines, a dominant carrier in Miami.
