Hilton Worldwide on Monday launched a free application for Hilton HHonors members that uses GPS and WiFi to offer customized notifications for on-site amenities and events.
Billed as a “personal travel guide,” Hilton’s “Fun Finder” takes information from guests’ pre-arrival survey in order to track preferences. The app then tracks guests’ hotel arrival and sends them information on events and amenities such as local walking tours, on-site drink specials and a schedule of the day’s children’s activities.
The app debuted at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach and and the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, and will be rolled out to other Hilton resorts soon, Hilton said.
