Recently I went on my first ever cruise with Silversea Cruises and it was honestly one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. I loved waking up to a new port every morning, enjoying breakfast on my veranda and having my very own butler deliver room service to my room. It was incredibly relaxing not having to think about carrying money since everything was all inclusive and I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere, from the fine dining restaurants to the shows and entertainment.
I packed several cocktail dresses and heels for the evenings and then casual dresses and sandals for walking around cities in the daytime. I also packed plenty of bikinis and a sun hat since I spent a lot of time by the pool!
When it comes to footwear, I highly recommend a pair of espadrille wedges, which were my go-to shoes for evenings aboard the ship. They give you that little bit of a heel but they’re also very comfortable on deck!
If you’re having trouble deciding what to pack, JD Williams have made a handy infographic showing how to pack for a cruise. This is a really great guideline for the types of outfits you’ll need for every occasion, whether you’re hitting the shops, going on an excursion or relaxing in the cocktail lounge aboard your ship. </>
