Stanley Hotel & Suites, a new five star, luxury hotel in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG), is the country’s latest, tourism development giving tourists and business travellers alike a more diverse range of accommodation options to choose from in the country’s gate-way city.

Chief executive officer of Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority (PNGTPA), Jerry Agus said he warmly welcomes the new luxury property in Port Moresby and believes it is just the tip of the iceberg for upcoming tourism infrastructure growth. “It’s an exciting time for PNG’s tourism industry.
We are continuing to work closely with development partners like the World Bank Group to improve PNG’s tourism infrastructure in provinces like Milne Bay and Rabaul/Kokopo,” Mr Agus said.
“Hotel openings such as the Stanley Hotel & Suites, is definitely a step in the right direction and shows confidence in the future of our tourism industry,” he said.
“While it’s early days, PNGTPA is motivated to grow this industry and welcome more tourists.”
Located only three kilometres from Jackson International Airport and six kilometres from the downtown area of Port Moresby, the Stanley Hotel & Suites provides unique business and leisure opportunities.
The hotel is connected with Vision City, Port Moresby’s largest shopping centre, which offers a variety of entertainment and dining opportunities.
