The previous editions of Startup Knockdown received good response from the startups community and for the Kolkata edition, the finalists include innovative startups from different domains including technology providers for hospitality industry, airline industry and in B2B travel space.

The finalists for the Kolkata event would not only get a platform to showcase their product and an opportunity to network with other travel brands and potential investors, but would also receive valuable inputs to further improve their product and business model from the industry experts who are a part of the mentor panel. Saumyajit Guha from Calcutta Angels Network has helped startups in different domains in scaling up and he would be sharing his inputs about angel investments with the startups. Ravi Ranjan, Head of Startup Warehouse Kolkata- 10000 Startups, NASSCOM, would discuss about the technologies that would significantly impact travel industry and how young brands can leverage these technologies. The finalists would also get a one-on-one chat session with the mentors to talk about the challenges and the finer details of their businesses.
Fairfest Media Ltd, organisers of TTF and OTM, has leveraged the already popular events as a platform to showcase the technological innovations in travel. It was initiated with TechForum@OTM and is being propelled even further by TTF.
The Kolkata edition of Startup Knockdown would be followed by events in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Pune, also in association with TTF. Startups can register for the upcoming events at startupknockdown.travhq.com.
