The Boston Park Plaza has completed a multi-year $100-million renovation.
Owner Sunstone Hotel Investors updated all of the hotel’s 1,060 rooms, while adding a steakhouse helmed by Boston restaurateur Nick Varano as well as a new 20,000-square-foot fitness center.
The hotel, which is located about a block south of Boston Common, also expanded its meeting space by 6,000 square feet to more than 50,000 square feet. The lobby has new guest check-in stations, while each room includes Smart TVs with video streaming capabilities.
The hotel, which is managed by Highgate, will add a Starbucks as well as a Leica Camera and Leica Gallery by the end of the year.
