1. Visit the Broad Museum

The cost of parking at the museum will cost you more than admission to the museum itself. Shocking. Unlike its neighbor across the street *cough* MOCA *cough* The Broad is 100% free to attend. So, you really have no excuse not to get cultured.
2. Explore Downtown LA on bike using the Metro Bike Share program
It’s about time LA stepped up its public transportation game. The Metro Bike Share program allows you to use the same TAP card for buses and trains and for renting a bike at any of their ~65 new bike stations around Downtown LA — and it only costs $1.75 for every 30 minutes. 3. Gawk at street art

The Arts District is a booming part of downtown with beloved eateries and trendy retailers opening up shop in the area. Just walk up and down the streets and admire the vibrant colors of paint on walls, sidewalks and alleys.
4. Visit the Walt Disney Concert Hall
Not only is the architecture of the Frank Gehry venue a spectacle in and of itself, but what happens inside is also pure magic. Sit back and listen to the heavenly sounds by musical genius Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
5. Explore Chinatown
If you’re searching for some of the best dim sum in town, search no further than Chinatown. The vibrant neighborhood is filled with tons of cultural landmarks, dive bars and some of the best Chinese restaurants in town.
6. Find the Tiki bar at Clifton’s Cafeteria
The newly renovated restaurant and bar on Broadway is a historic cafeteria that opened in 1932 and is filled with tons of charm. Head upstairs to The Pacific Seas Tiki bar and sip on a Mai Tai while dreaming of your next travel destination far away.
7. Eat with your eyes at Grand Central Market

Grand Central Market celebrates the melting pot of cultures that make LA such a diverse city. Come hungry and peruse the aisles but don’t leave without trying the wonton soup at China Cafe, a bagel and lox sando at Wexler’s Deli or the tacos at Tacos Tumbras a Tomas.
8. Read a book at Los Angeles Central Library
They DO still exist! This one happens to be one of the most beautiful in LA so look up and the gorgeous architecture while you flip through the pages of a new book.
9. Eat a French dip sandwich at Cole’s

There’s a long history between Cole’s and its downtown rival, Philippe’s The Original, and who actually makes a better French dip sandwich so, you be the judge. Oh and psst, make your way to the back and find the hidden speakeasy bar, The Varnish, and wash it all down with a few craft cocktails.
